DESCRIPTION:From 1869 - 1992\, Lobethal’s Onkaparinga Woollen Mills\, wer
 e synonymous with the highest quality Australian blankets and materials. A
 rtist Flossie Peitsch sketched the skilled workers at their beloved machin
 es\, soon to be parted. Also a weaver\, Peitsch used the very fibres produ
 ced by the Mill to weave 54 tapestries. For the first time\, these two sig
 nificant bodies of art are exhibited together. Knitted and constructed ins
 tallations are also displayed.
